Hy-vee Market Grille - Cedar Rapids

The food was good. There were plenty of available tables. Ordering before entering is a bit of a challenge.

The bone in wings are excellent! The nachos however, are very sub par. I do not recommend the nachos. Had them last night. Very little beef and cheese. Just a bunch of chips basically.

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Monday afternoon and decided to try the blueberry and bacon Gouda cheeseburger. The burger was cooked to perfection, and the combination of flavors was outstanding. The dining area is quite lovely. However, I found it a bit inconvenient that you have to place your order at the counter. There were many people who came in right after me, which made me feel rushed and unable to take my time with the menu. After ordering, you have to find a seat and serve yourself a drink. Despite these drawbacks, the burger is definitely worth a return visit.

We've truly enjoyed our experiences over the years at our local Hy-Vee. Kevin at the Market Grill has played a significant role in our memories here in Cedar Rapids. He is, without a doubt, the best! We love you, Kevin!

I visited during Happy Hour for $5.00 appetizers, and it was a regrettable decision! The chicken tasted old, came in large chunks, and I even found a bone in it. It seemed like they were using leftover rotisserie chicken. After eating it, I felt unwell and had to take some antacids. Hy-Vee Market really needs to use fresher ingredients. I couldn't finish my appetizer since it was so unappetizing!
