Checkers Tavern - Cedar Rapids

Worst experience ever! my family and I went in and it felt like a scene from the movie Life(No colors allowed) my children said that the waitress gave a bad look when we approached the table to take a place, and the waitress immediately said that the children here after a certain time are not allowed and they will not serve us in the rudeest at all. this place is not recommended at all. I share my experience about this place with all my family, friends, employees and my neighbour.

Damn good food. I am not sure how the drinks are, but I will be sure to update whether it is a four-star or a five-star if I have the time to have a drink safe.

Great neighbour taverne. I had a daily lunch special, that was under $10!

I have eaten here a few times and the food is absolutely amazing! The very first thing I tried were The notches to go which ended up feeding me the teenager and made four other meals out of the leftovers. Every time it's been well worth my money spent!!I also deliver here for my job and everybody seems to always have a smile on their face and greets me as I walk in the door

Had an awesome time as always at Checkers. The bartenders are super friendly and the food is always great. We were there for the live music. Be sure to stop in and check it out!!
