Huhot Mongolian Grill - Cedar Falls

Very good food, good service. always happy to go here. floors around eating were sticky, but was expected.

Today I went to HuHot I got my regular that I got for years. When I went to the grill they touch my food a couple times. And my food was on the grill for 1 minute they gave me my food I added the topping there almost gone and went to go sit down. I ate my food and I notice my chicken was cold and my sausage was not cooked. And it's your job to make everyone's food properly buy it wasn't cooked. We told our waiter and then she took my food to show her manager and have her manager make my food he made it better so who ever was that thanks for making my day better after that.

This place is absolutely disgusting even the clean dishes are not clean the sauces have all mixed together the grill is so gross I have never seen a restaurant so disgusting. 1 star is to much. And on top of that pur waitress is rude.

We live about an hour away, but many times when we visit the Waterloo Cedar Falls area we eat here. Every single time the service is excellent, the food is excellent, the place is clean and well run. We actually ate there today, the Saturday before Christmas and it WAS BUSY! The lines wrapped around the back wall and halfway to the starting point, but they went sooo fast. Even though they were Uber Uber busy, the staff was still nice and they ran that place very well considering the situation. The cooks had that grill down to a science cooking things throughly and with attention, yet constantly cleaning and adding the next bowls. Well done Cedar Falls Hu Hut, you have 3 fans with myself, my wife and our 9 month old baby! Keep up the good work.

For Mother's Day, arrived at 11:00 a.m. apparently someone forgot to turn on the grill. the chefs were frustrated....served us our meal and it was warm...not hot. When we came back to our table, we were told that the rice would not be ready for another 5 minutes. it seems like Mother's Day is a great opportunity to win new customers, not lose them. I was very surprised at this bad level of service. we are not coming back!
