A (mainly North) Indian pure vegetarian restaurant with a number of vegan options explicitly labeled as such, including a few different rice combo sets. Food is fine and the sets are a good portion for one person, but it's not particularly spicy and was a bit heavy on the salt and cumin when I ate there. Delivers on Grab.
Finding JY Square was not difficult at all but locating nearby Salinas Drive the SSY Business Center was quite a challenge. Asked at least half a dozen locals and none had heard of either. After significant walking, eventually the seas parted. The SSY Business Center is basically a large carpark square with shops lining the left hand and rear sides. Little India is to be found at the back left corner. You enter on the ground floor and are referred up the staircase to the first floor where the dining area is found. There's quite a good range of choices from single main dishes through to the classic thali. The menu is mainly north Indian but they do currently offer dosas and idly. It is anticipated that they will offer a south Indian thali too in the future. I opted for the vegan north indian thali which comprised small portions of chana masala (chickpea curry), yellow dhal, masala potatoes plus rice, one roti and papad. The meal was quite filling and surprisingly inexpensive.
JY found the location of the restaurant to be easy to locate, but the SSY Business Center near Salinas Drive proved to be a bit of a challenge. Despite asking several locals for directions, no one seemed to know where it was. After some significant walking, they finally found the entrance to the center. The SSY Business Center is essentially a large parking lot with shops lining the left and rear sides. Little India is situated on the left corner. Customers can enter on the ground floor and take the stairs to the first floor where the dining area is located. The menu offers a wide selection of individual main dishes, including the classic Thali. While the menu primarily features Nordic cuisine, they also currently serve dosas and idlis. It is anticipated that they will soon offer a South Indian Thali as well. JY opted for the vegan North Indian thali, which included small portions of chana masala (Chickpea Curry), yellow dhal, masala potatoes, rice, a redi, and papad. The meal was satisfying and surprisingly affordable.
Finding the location of JY Find Place was not difficult, but locating it near Salinas Drive in the SSY Business Center proved to be a challenge. Despite asking several locals for directions, none were familiar with the restaurant. After a considerable walk, I finally reached the seafront part of the SSY Business Center, which is essentially a large parking lot with shops along the left and rear side. Little India is located on the left corner, and upon entering on the ground floor, stairs lead up to the first floor where the dining area is situated. The menu offers a variety of main dishes ranging from traditional thali to dosas and idlis. They are planning to introduce a South Indian thali in the future. I opted for the vegan North Indian thali, which included small portions of chana masala, yellow dhal, masala potatoes, rice, a salad, and papad. The meal was satisfying and surprisingly affordable.
