Crowsnest Vineyards - Cawston

Excellent place to take visitors, always top notch!

First, I didn't intend to check the winery. I sent an e-mail that blew my feelings and got no answer. I had a reservation at my Rv and also for a dinner reservation. I was here a few years ago and had a great experience. I parked at the same place as I was facing 2 years ago and came to check with the desk to see if this was still the right place to park. I was boiled by the owner/manager that I shouldn't park there. And I mean to hear the whole terrace scream. It was very unprofessional and unpleasant. He gave no clear instructions where to park. We parked and went to confirm our booking. He was behind the counter and only shined on us and said no word. A server took our information, but it was clear that he wasn't happy to talk to us. We went back to the Rv and decided that it was too unpleasant to stay here with such an angry reception. Wouldn't recommend a visit. I would add that I treated Anna at my first visit and she was very courteous and friendly.

Overnight in the guest house and dinner in the restaurant. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet with magnificent views of the vineyard and beautiful surroundings. The food and wine in the restaurant were excellent and the staff was very friendly. Everything was very cheap. Rooms: 4
