Imperial - Cavan

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday around 4 pm for our anniversary. The restaurant was not busy and nicely decorated. We asked for a table for two but were only directed to a table instead of being shown to our seats. We sat down and looked at the menu on the table, but a waitress passed by to collect some menus at a station next to our table without asking if we wanted anything. We waited for over 10 minutes and nobody came to take our drink order or food order. The place was very quiet. We ended up leaving without ordering anything to eat or drink. We were very disappointed and would not visit again.

A massive Thank you to all the Staff at The Imperial Restaurant. A recent gathering of Family and Friends for Dinner and Drinks was Simply Exceptional. The Food was Excellent and Accompanied by a Service that any 5 Star Establishment would be very Proud of. Cocktails were one of many Highlights, Mixologist of Gold Standard. Thanks again for a Great Memory and look forward to Many more.

We will definitely return!! We enjoyed delicious dinner mains and dessert at this restaurant. The food was top-notch and the staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and was very busy. Well done!

Fabulous in every way. I can’t rate this premises highly enough. The staff are so friendly, competent and capable which obviously reflects on the owners. The food is amazing. This evening we had the ‘special’ plaice stuffed with sun dried tomato and spinach with muscles, exceptional!

Visited on July 1st, As you enter the establishment the atmosphere is warm and very friendly, the furnishings are top notch ,similar too a 5 star hotel. Excellent dinner menu with a great selection of dishes too cater for every taste including(vegans). Highly recommended the brownie and baked alaska for dessert As a chef I was trying my best too find something to complain about but I fell short. Special mention too Catriona the lady running the establishment, Excellent and treats the customer like their members of her family. Definitely be back in the very near future Thank you.
