We visited the hotel for a special event. It was a beautiful day. The staff was extremely friendly. We enjoyed some live music and had a few drinks.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is amazing, it's really warm and beautiful and the staff are excellent, friendly and courteous, the location is great as its just on the outskirts of cavan town so you don't have to get caught in traffic to get there and ample parking in the place.

We were given a very rundown wheelchair access room behind reception. We arrived later and were using credit from a cancelled stay. The furniture was peeling apart and the whole room was more like a hostel style quality than hotel. Back at reception they could only offer us a connecting room that they weren't selling because they had noise complaints due to the visitors in the connecting room the previous 2 nights. This was all they had. When we pointed out that giving us a room they knew there would be problems with wasn't resolving the issue, they then searched and searched and found another room. This room was much improved from the original. It was disappointing that since this room was free that they were still trying to pawn off an unfit room and then they'd didnt immediately offer up the better room when a complaint was made. The hotel did change our rooms in the end, so they did resolve the issue. Their restaurant/bar staff were lovely. The food served was also nice. I was asked to send on the pictures to their customer service but received no acknowledgement or response.

Went for lunch, everything tasted as if it was freshly made, food was lovely and staff very friendly, helpful.
