Carpaccio Ristorante Pizzeria Wine Bar

Menu reasonably priced though the cover charge always irritates me. Gluten free options not great but happy to say the manager went out of her way to cater for a peanut allergy for my daughter. Wish I tried more of the menu but the heat in high summer just made it impossible to eat a heavier meal. Would recommend this restaurant.

The title of this review should give you some idea of how awful it was here, don 't think I 've ever walked out of a restaurant before now! We were staying at Union Lido for 2 weeks, and having already eaten at one of the other restaurants as a family, we wanted a change for a rare night out as a couple, so decided to try Carpaccio. I have coeliac disease, and Union Lido list this restaurant as having gluten free meat and fish options. When we arrived, despite the outside area being far from full, it took several minutes for us to be greeted and seated. We ordered drinks immediately, but these took a long time to arrive. In the time we were waiting, the couple next to us were seated, gave a drinks order, and received an appetiser! Having been given the menu I asked the server which options were gluten free, in particular asking about a dish I wanted to try. When she eventually returned, some 20 minutes or so later, she asked are you ready to order yet? ! I pointed out I was waiting to hear what was gluten free, in particular the dish in question, and she just said you can have the steak . I didn 't want the steak and potatoes, this is not the dark old ages of coeliac disease and the gluten free diet not being well known. I wanted the gluten free options promised by the Union Lido website. We paid for our drinks and left, leaving the server completely flummoxed as to why. She made no effort to be of assistance, she wasn 't busy, and I saw her rolling her eyes when someone at another table returned a steak for being under done. Come on Union Lido, I know you can do better, we ultimately ate at Riviera 3 times plus a take out, and it was excellent, with amazing service, a full gluten free menu, and freshly baked gluten free bread. Didn 't even receive our free gift with the loyalty card a poor show and wouldn 't recommend this place

The service was good and the staff polite, but sadly the quality of my food was not good. I had asado (grilled meat Argentinean style). The meat, which is the main part of the dish, was of low quality.

One of the best restaurants around. Delicious food, the staff ist very caring and children are welcome!

We were very satisfied again. The food, especially the pizzas, are simply great. The service is super friendly and quick. We'd love to come back.
