Village Pizza Ii - Catskill

I'm originally from Brooklyn, so I know my pizza. I can say without doubt that this is the best pizza I ever had in new york. the cheese and all ingredients were fresh and high quality. none of the cheap low quality cheeses use the people here. the sauce was made to house and absolutely delicious if I gave it more than 5 stars I would!

We randomly stopped by this restaurant during a road trip and were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding pizza. It was just as good as any pizzeria in New York City or the Bronx that I have visited (and I've visited quite a few). The owners were incredibly kind and even gave my son some pizza slices to take with us because he enjoyed it so much. I am excited for our next road trip so we can visit this place again!

Extremely disappointing service. The food is delicious, but the staff either misleads about wait times or completely forgets orders. I was told it would be an hour wait for a pizza and two dozen wings, but two hours later, they had just started preparing the order. Despite ordering in advance and having groceries waiting in my car, I still had to wait in the restaurant for an hour. No discount or apology was offered. I don't mind waiting, just be truthful about it!

I used to come here as a little girl and there was a an old man named Vincent who used to give me pizza because he knew I was hungry. My parents weren't feeding me properly and he didn't like that so he would always make sure I had a meal in my belly. Icame here with my boyfriend for the first time in years and encouraged him to try the delicious pizza if it was as good as Iremembered. Well here it seemed like everyone was very down in the dumps and the atmosphere was very sad and not very friendlyunfortunately not like I remembered. The pizza was amazing but the garlic bread was a little bit well there was no love in itnot like I remembered. I was okay with the soup of the day but it was a little bit well... sad. I really enjoy this Pizzeria andit brings back memories of when I was like 14 i was really hoping to thank Vincent for all he did for me when i was a kid andgiving me a safe place to be when i was away from home. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the pizza!! I'm not sure why everybodythere was so sad but in my experience it's usually poor management. I hope the employees have a better day and I will be postingphotos later!

While the pizza may be slightly salty, the flavors are exceptional and the toppings are plentiful. Additionally, the eggplant and chicken parmesan dishes are excellent choices as well.
