Mcdonald's - Cathedral City

This restaurant is advertised as being open 24 hours, but we had a frustrating experience. We placed an order through the app at 12:27 AM and arrived to find out that they were closed for an hour. When I explained that we had already ordered and paid through the app, the staff member said they couldn't help because there were no orders on the screen. I asked if she could cancel the order or issue a refund, but she just told me that I would receive my money back in three days and dismissed me. Fortunately, my bank resolved the issue quickly and refunded me right away. If they are going to close, the app should reflect that so customers can't place orders. Also, better customer service would go a long way, instead of being treated dismissively.

The sign indicates that they open at 6:00 am, but it's currently 8:00 am and the restaurant is closed! There's no sign or announcement explaining the closure, and while employees are inside, they haven't bothered to come out and provide any information or let us know when they might open. I cannot recommend this McDonald's at all.

I went through the drive-thru at midnight and was completely ignored by the employees. I would give zero stars if that were an option. It would have been nice to be told they were closed instead of being overlooked.

It's 8 am, at the door it says it opens at 6 am the employees are there just looking at us just waiting for them to open , I've been here for 20 minutes already, where is the manager fir this place.

Do. Not. Visit. This. Location.I'm not the biggest fan of McDonald's, so convincing me to go to one is already a feat. However, we used the app to order , and set it up for curbside pickup. We checked in as we arrived and it started that the order would be out shortly.Fast forward 30 minutes and we're still waiting. The drive through is full and moved two cars up at this point, and the lobby is closed with a hand written note stating so. There was nothing indication the whole store was closed. Another customer who had been sitting in the curbside pickup had found one of the side doors open and poked her head in. We were then told that the store itself was closed by somebody behind the counter, a full staff mind you, and we could clearly see our order sitting on the counter cooling and not being served. When we pointed this out, the guy handed us the food, although it was completely cooled off and gross by the time we got it.Again. Do. Not. Go. To. This. Location.
