Il Tubo - Catania

I have been there twice already. Seems like a nice good restaurant for locals. We tried each time different dishes. Initialy we we're not sure if we should eat there but then entered and didn't regret it. If you are near by go ahead and try it.

We really enjoyed our meal, which consisted of spaghetti with oil, tuna, and swordfish. The owner was very kind and patient when waiting on us to order, and our food came quickly. This place offers bench seating at tables outside which is a nice change from chairs, as you can spread out and lounge more. There's plenty to observe on this street, and this is a nice place to linger.

Great Sicilian food; the restaurant where the locals go to eat. The atmosphere of a lively street at your fingertips. Only thing that bothered me: when you order, the service is great, friendly, attentive. When you finish your meal, no one notices you anymore, you don't even have anyone to order coffee from and you have to go to the cashier to pay.

An open place for many years known by all, become a reference for the Catalans where the typical Sicilian cuisine is located at a price accessible to all budgets, in short, eating well and paying little, what do you want more from life?

Excellent dishes, prices, nice local even if to the staff good, friendly and attentive.
