Chiosco Giammona - Catania

Lemon green mandarin, a classic Catalan, in the Ionian square. the kiosk is historical.

My friend introduced me to the catanian pastime of 'kiosking '. Basically due to the hot weather and ridiculously cheap drinks you can mooch from kiosk to kiosk have 1 euro beers and generally chillin. What I would highly highly recommend in the hot weather is 'limon con sala ' which is fresh lemon/lime in soda water with salt.....the most refreshing thing ever ever.

Very quick service. Was highly recommended by our Sicilian friends. The drink I had was extremely refreshing and brought me back to life during one of the hottest summer nights! You just need to know how to order the drinks!
