The business offers a wide variety of options, and I tried the artichoke hearts cooked in an air fryer.

The restaurant is still open and delicious! I visited in February 2020 and enjoyed the food truck's hours from 9:30am.

After researching, we discovered that the roasted artichokes are free of eggs and milk. If you want to keep them vegan, just omit the cheese and scuba sauce. If you're in search of a quirky and tasty vegan appetizer, look no further. The only downside is that the Artichoke hearts are somewhat lost in the fried dough. For those who plan ahead, adding your favorite vegan dipping sauce would enhance the experience. Overall, a one-of-a-kind and enjoyable experience not found anywhere else that I know of.

I was born in Cali before I moved to Seattle and grew up, I still spent my summer back in the Salinas/Castroville area. In my family we would always get our deep roasted artichoke hearts from the huge artichoke market, it is a piece of my childhood! During this trip to Cali, this time as a vegan, I had my usual desire for fat, fried, artichoke y goodness. But unfortunately, the huge artichoke (and a few other places around the city I called do not use vegan batter! I didn't give up until I finally found Pezzini farms. An egg yolk evaluation mentioned that they do not use milk in their dough. I called her up and asked a few more questions and found that they are actually vegan! I'm so glad I found her. They roast their artichoke hearts in the small green food truck just on the side of the stand itself. They taste exactly the same if not better than my childhood artichoke hearts. Make sure to get them blown up without the Parmesan, and no sauce on the side. Take em home and dive them into a vegan ranch or vegannaise! Also inside the food stand they sell fresh fruits and vegetables, and on the back they have frozen fried artichokes hearts so you can make them in your oven anytime You want :D Hey, I didn't say it was healthy, only vegan; and tasty updated from the previous review on Tuesday, 01.
