Baby G's Cafe - CASTROVILLE

A taco a day keeps the doctor away. Amen. I think this quaint little spot has changed names: now Pop 's Cafe, this unassuming family-owned business did not disappoint. Their breakfast tacos were delightful and the service was perfect. Go with the green sauce: it was all the right kind of spicy.

Visited this place today for breakfast looking for something different and get away from the hustle and bustle of San Antonio. Wow!! This family owned business is awesome!!! You have to drive from San Antonio to come try the French toast! I've eaten all over the US and these are the best French toast ever! Everything was cooked to perfection. Kudos to the chef. So if you want something homemade and not in a hurry (because everything is made fresh) then come try this place in Castroville. You will not be disappointed. This will be my new favorite place for breakfast and French toast.

It's a little hole in the wall place, and yes, they have changed the name to Pop's. We came here because the Yelp reviews and they were right, the French Toast was to die for. It was encrusted with sweet, crunchy goodness. Made my mouth water. It wasn't on the menu anymore, but they made it for me anyway. I told them they should put it back on. My husband had the pancakes and said they were good as well. Coffee was fresh. Will come back if ever here again.

Wow what a hidden gem amazing delicious home made food everything was delicious but the French toast tho I'll be back for their Enchiladas soon! I will be back very soon!!!

So good! Tiny little spot that you'd never believe has such good home cooking. Took my family for breakfast on a Sunday morning and our server was so attentive, and kind. That is important to me...good service is so hard to find in this area. Food was fresh, good portions and hot!! We will be back! Prices were pretty good, too!
