Contribuiți la feedbackWhat a fun course, Redwood Canyon surprised me from his challenge and beauty. This lush Par 71 was built in an amazing forested canyon and was a dense property that really transported you away from the bay. The course was in good shape and the mood was perfect for a relaxed round of golf, but keep an eye on your ball because there are many dangers of big brooks and many brooks. I recommend these when you're in East Bay.
Great for beginners like me, price was not too bad, beautiful scenery. Wild turkeys and deer with their teeth, strip to enjoy nature. Many golfers were walking. Greens were well maintained, Fairways were wide, I would probably go back.
Actually for a public course and the price of golf with a car, my rating should be a 4 1/2. And I bet if I had been there all renovations would have been done (deconstruction, etc.) it would have been a 5. First, and most important for me, the people who are here golf are laid and real. Secondly, it is not a terrible difficult course. Thirdly, it is very expensive. As someone who has a few Coors Lights and has to pee sometime, they could use an additional bathroom along the course. It's a great course at the price. End of history. I look forward to golfing there in 2020 when the upgrades are done. Also... if you smoke cigars while golfing... buy them before you get there! I made the mistake... and they don't sell it there (as they are part of East Bay Regional Parks).
Greens are nice, staff nice, fairways wide. The fairways have some rough patches. Was cool, wild turkey, deer, etc. to see.
Beautiful place. Lots of wild life. Nice staff who offered to drive us around in the golf cart to see the place
