Rizieri - CASTRIGNANO DEL CAPO

We ate two eveing meals there the meal the first night was so good we decided to return again! Fresh seafood, of course, with excellent preparation, delicious wine, and good conversation with the host. The recommendations he made proved outstanding. We enjoyed every minute.

We traveled down to the heel of Italy just to see the very southernmost point on the heel. While we were here we ate at Hotel Ristorante Rizieri, one of only a few restaurants open in March. We ordered spaghetti vongole which was very good and dish of eggplant and swordfish in pasta which was sort of odd and not a winner. Tour group was here while we visited which impaired the service some and they were not too friendly to begin with.

The food in this hotel resraurant deserves the three stars shown but could have been more if the staff had shown the slightest interest in serving us or maybe even a smile.Both the waitress who greeted us and I assume the owner both appeared not to want to be there and their attitude was appalling.Do not visit if you are looking for good service.

Il posto è vicino al lungomare di Leuca. siamo stati convinti da alcune recensioni. il cibo era molto buono, da 4 palle, ma il giudizio è penalizzato dal servizio. Cominciamo dicendo che i camerieri stavano girando e stavano servendo senza indossare la maschera. poi non hanno sentito; sono stato preoccupato di indicarli, ma quando stavano servendo, non gli importava di dirmi se potevo mangiarli o no. Infatti, in un caso, avendo il sospetto che il piatto servito aveva sostanza per me vietato ho chiesto che cosa ha contenuto e la risposta era giusta, forse non puÃ2 mangiare, ora chiedo e per concludere, abbiamo dovuto provvedere per la posate tra un corso e l'altro. peccato, perché la qualità del cibo ci è piaciuto molto.

Se decidete di andare a cena dopo aver trascorso una giornata a mare, stuzzicando qualcosina, siete approdati nel posto giusto. Si mangia bene e tanto, porzioni super abbondanti . Se volete solo mangiucchiare il posto non fa per voi. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è adeguato: pesce freschissimo e ben cucinato.
