Red Dot Bar - Castleton on Hudson

We were on a day trip to hudson and stumbled on this sweet spot on the main promenade. it was a hot day, and we needed a dog-friendly place to get some.

Delicious! had the eier benny and French toast and both were great. also large service

The menu was limited, the outdoor seating was not enjoyable. It was evident that the waitstaff were overwhelmed due to being short-staffed. The quality of the food was average.

If you want the authentic Hudson, come here. There's nothing better. The people who don't like this place are just a high maintenance, I'm sorry. Prices are higher due to inflation. If you want cheap, go to Burger King. The martini is like 14 dollars, but they give you a shaker on the side with more in it, so it's a 7 dollar martini. If you're nice, they're nice. Nice people, great food, stiff drinks. This place has held back 20 years and it is getting better. It's the real deal Hudson, they're not the new stuff. Nice interior too.

Hostess was not very friendly, seemed stressed. The waitress was unhappy and to complete it, they charge 3.5% for credit cards. This hasn't happened yet. $55.00 for burgers and fish chips, no alcohol!
