Ye Olde Nags Head - Castleton

I can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed yet! They have an incredible selection of real ale, and it was bustling with diners. I didn’t try any food myself, but others seemed to really enjoy it...

I had a lovely overnight stay with my wife and her 91-year-old mother. The location is fantastic, with convenient free parking. The building has a charming, historical character. The bar offers an impressive selection of ales and fair-priced drinks. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and breakfast, both featuring high-quality ingredients. The staff was very friendly and efficient. It truly felt like a trip back in time!

It was challenging to assess my stay since I booked one of the smallest rooms. However, considering the reasonable price, I would give my experience a high rating. Despite the room's tiny size, it included a complimentary wine. I enjoyed a delightful fish and chips for dinner, and in the morning, I can confidently say I had one of the most delicious full English breakfasts I've ever tasted during my trip to Britain.
