The Daily Express - CASTLEMAINE

A lovely old country station which is staffed and has with warm waiting rooms and even a little cafe now thats good service .

I give it 5 stars, premature cause don 't know if the trains run on time. She says 'usually they do. Almost all, every time '.

I wrapped up my trip home once again at Castlemaine station. I accidentally boarded the wrong train, but I really enjoyed the historic buildings scattered throughout the town. There’s ample parking, and it’s a quiet, fantastic place to live and work within the city.

This is a charming country railway station with a good set of amenities, and it's conveniently located close to the town center.
