We had a great evening here, it’s a lovely upmarket Thai restaurant with good ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! The portions were very generous and we all went home satisfied. We will definitely go back!

I went there to savour the reputable dish roti duck, recommended by the owner's son. The roti had a multi layered texture that was delightfully crispy on the outside and unbelievably fluffy on the inside. The curry like sauce was beautifully made with a creamy feel, not heavy at all. The duck was extremely tender, seeming to melt in my mouth, the flavours and tastes sending great messages to my neuroreceptors.

Bai Yok is a great relaxed neighbourhood Thai restaurant in the Castlecrag strip. Their food, both dine in and take away, is always good. Staff are very friendly and welcoming to their restaurant. Street parking is available in the evenings.

The food at this restaurant was decent, with the stir fries being my favorite. However, I have had better Thai food elsewhere. The prawns in our dishes tasted strange and made it unpleasant, especially since all our dishes were seafood-based. I do recommend trying the crab fried rice though. The service was good and we had a pleasant dine-in experience for dinner. The price per person ranged from A$40-60.
