Took the 6 person extended family there on the 4th of July. We were wet, sweaty and exhausted after a full day in the mountains. They were kind, accommodating and treated us as well as the well coiffed and perfumed customers. The food was delightful, delicious and for the quality and quantity, fairly priced. I had a nice box for lunch the following day! Our waitress was so sweet, and gorgeous! She treated us as if we were the only customers in there. The size of the establishment is smaller, but I appreciated that. It was homey, warm and it gave our server a chance to give quality customer service without being rushed. Not to mention, I assume that with fewer patrons to feed, the kitchen can send out fresh made dishes that have had the time and attention to make each plate just as delicious as the other. My children are already planning our next trip there!
I was walking in expecting better from this place as I always give places a second shot after my final thoughts. My chicken fettuccine alfredo was bland at best. Almost all of the sauce was watery and had no flavor. The chicken was dry and tasted a week old. The lemon chicken was also not lemony at all as well as having chili pepper in the pasta even though it was not stated on the menu. Overall, it was very overpriced for food that had no taste.
A very nice and quaint Italian restaurant. Amazing food and great customer service. I definitely recommend this place.
First off, our server Kaleb was awesome. Great personality and on top of things. Second, the food was fantastic. The appetizer was beautiful and tasty, and the calzones were huge and fresh. We finished off with a skillet cookie which was exactly what we expected and wanted. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for pizza in Castle Rock!
