Saffron - Castle Point

I ate here with my wife early evening and made a point of asking for 'NO ' coriander my main arrived with coriander and I sent it back, I wasn 't impressed when the dish came back with a small amount of coriander still on it — obviously the kitchen simply took off the coriander they could see — VERY bad practise... What if it was an allergy and the residue made someone ill?

Food was quite nice, apart from the garlic nan which was really strong like raw garlic taste. Scallops were not available from the menu. Service could have been a little better as I had to wave for attention but the man was very nice.

What a lovely restaurant!!!! Menu has lots of choices and different dishes to try The food we had was lovely and staff very friendly- will definitely go back

Been to this restaurant a number of times, never been disappointed. As of all restaurants, they are only as good as the chef. In this case they are first class

Leaflets came through the door about how amazing the chef was etc so we were keen to try. Sadly it wasn't for us, none of us liked a single dish which is very unusual given the choice of dishes ordered.
