Anita’s Tearooms - Castle Point

This charming tearoom, run by a family, offers delicious cooked breakfasts, homemade roasts, and delectable cakes and treats! Located in the Marina, it provides great views and has a staff that is super friendly.

After walking past Anita's Tea Rooms countless times with my dog, my partner and I finally decided to stop in. In February, we purchased a boat and ended up having to moor it near the tea rooms for a couple of weeks. It turned out to be a lucky coincidence because we quickly fell in love with Anita's. We would often take advantage of our lunch break by grabbing a takeaway meal from the tea rooms and enjoying it on the boat. The sausage and bacon sandwiches were delicious, and the homemade treats like fudge were a delightful indulgence. We have yet to try the Sunday roast, but it's definitely on our list for next time. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Anita's and only wish we didn't have to move our boat 500 yards away.

My family and I recently visited Anita's tearoom and were pleasantly surprised by the diverse menu offering hot breakfasts to afternoon tea. Everyone found something they enjoyed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Our niece was thrilled by the dog-friendly atmosphere and the chance to watch the boats go by. We will definitely be returning often. The tearoom is located in a beautiful setting with both indoor and outdoor seating options, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff truly made our experience unforgettable.

Absolutely delicious, great value for money. Piping hot and loads of it. Also sauces and gravy served separately, great for fussy eaters! Only place I would get a roast delivered from on Canvey.
