Malga Rauchhutte - CASTELROTTO

Nice location, big terrace, friendly staff, great food. Perfect for lunch during your walks in the mountains!

It was lovely to sit outside for a good lunch. The service was excellent and the atmosphere great. There are many huts on Seiser ALm, but this is one of the best ones.

We came across this hut while winter walking on Alpi Suisi. Also close to a nordic ski trail. A lovely outdoor terrace with magnificent views to the mountains. We enjoyed a drink and some lovely apple strudel with vanilla sauce. Inside seating looks like a good sit-down meal spot. Would return.

We had the joy to eat here for lunch while we walk in the alpe di suisse. the beauty of the environment cannot adequately describe! I would have been satisfied with a sandwich, but eating is simply amazing! we shared a meat cheese plate, then enjoyed a goulash with polnta and a steak/cartoffato menu. everything with the most beautiful white wine. even the espresso was fantastic. the interior seats looked beautiful, and I am sure would be great in autumn or winter, but if the weather allowed, they must sit on the terrace! the service was also warm, friendly and efficient. we loved it all!

I would have been happy with a sandwich, but the food is just amazing! We shared a meat/cheese platter, then enjoyed a goulash with polenta and a steak/potato meal. All with the loveliest white wine. Even the espresso was fantastic. The inside seating looked lovely, and I’m sure would be great in the fall or winter, but if weather permits you have to sit on the terrace! Service was warm, friendly and efficient as well. We just loved everything about it!
