Borgo Casato - CASTELNUOVO BERARDENGA

Lovely setting, this restaurant come hotel, come wine shop is very rural but we followed the TA recommendation having been for a wine tasting locally. After parking the signage to get in was a bit confusing to be honest (walk to the right around the first building) but we made it and were greeted by lovely young lady. We hadn’t reserved so she had to check kitchen capacity. Indoors (air conditioned) was full and we sat out on the patio. It was super hot but we had shade and fantastic views. I had the ravioli with sea-bass as a special and I have to say it is probably the nicest pasta dish I have ever had! Lovely staff, great position and fantastic food.

We stayed at the hotel and wanted to try the restaurant too. We had a table outside on the terrace with a wonderful view on the Tuscan landscape. We received a glass of prosecco and appetizer from the house. As primi, we ordered two different pastas, they were both very good. As secondi, we ordered the tagliatta and the steak with truffle. Again very delicious. The desserts were not on the same level. We’ve tasted their own delicious wine with the menu. Very friendly staff too!

This restaurant is a little out of the way in an agri tourist hotel. The food was good and the service is very friendly and helpful.

Lovely place surrounded by nature, comfortable apartment, friendly and welcoming staff, great food; definitely to return to the summer period to enjoy the pool. in sabrine and constancy (the beautiful carlotta) from the apartments m and n in the night of halloween

Lovely place, immersed in the meravigliise Sienese hills of berardenga castelnuovo. excellent cuisine and family welcome.
