Casselman Restaurant

We thought there was a lunch here for a change instead of going to one of the nearby Fast Food Joints. One of the dishes offered was Chinese so that our attention was received. We ordered a combination plate of (1) chicken balls, chicken... fried rice and an egg roll and (2) bovine broccoli, chicken bread and an egg roll. With each of these dishes the rice was cooked like broccoli. The egg rolls were dry and the chicken balls were boiled over... in hints we should have sent them back. I can't complain about the service because the waitress was falling, there was no problem. Now I can't talk to their other menu items, only on what we ordered, but ours was very unsatisfactory and so we won't return.

When visiting the city of Casselman, as in our previous visits, we sang in this very great restaurant. The food was exceptional and the menu selection was great, not to mention the great service. It was great to choose from Canadian, Italian and Chinese foods. Our waitress went out of her way to welcome us. We'll be safe in the future.

We've been visiting the Casselman restaurant for several years, our last two visits were very disappointed. We no longer live in the immediate surroundings, but it was always our favorite restaurant in the area. A few weeks ago... BBQ chicken was cold in the middle and there was no rice pudding for dessert (only a kind of ellow or some kind of ice cream). Today we took a Chinese meal that was ok, but the roast beef sandwich was not. The sandwich was completely diligent as if it was either frozen or standing in engraving for 20mins and away the fresh vegetables was replaced by frozen mixture Veg (Mazedonia). No more pudding. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she said because of Covid that they don't use fresh vegetables, another rice pudding. We didn't agree to the excuse. On a positive side, the set-eating special offer is a good value (depending on how it was previously excellent). The soup was made at home and was very good. We are not going to visit again for a while until they come back with fresh vegetables and more care with their meals. Although Covid is an inconvenience for all, it should not be used as an excuse to reduce the quality of what is on the menu.

The meal was absolutely delicious and the service of our waitress Anna was exceptional. The dessert was very good. The food homemade left you want nothing. Recommend this restaurant.

I went there a few times for breakfast and lunch and I've always been satisfied with the service and the quality of food. Nothing negative to say about this place. Really love their breakfasts and would recommend to anyone.
