Pike Hole Bar Restaurant - Cass Lake

Stumbled upon this bar/restaurant while fishing. It is in such a beautiful location. Food is okay and a little pricey for bar food. Everyone is super friendly. Bought a shirt and sweats that I love.

I can remember my dad taking me here when I was a kid. It used to be a very pretty place on the lake with good food. Now I've been there twice to eat and was told once all they had on hand was frozen pizza and once it was right in the middle of their dinner hours and the place was closed for no reason. *UPDATE 7/7/2015* Decided to try this place again after five years. The food was decent, price was decent, service was... decent, our waitress wasn't bad but she definitely wanted to be somewhere else, maybe it was just a bad night for her. Overall it was okay. Nothing to right home about, but it was nice to sit outside and visit with friends as well as other patrons and have a nice casual dinner. I'll increase my rating from one to two stars. It is really borderline three, but the burger wasn't as good as I was hoping for the price. Others in our group had chicken and that was very good.

Been going to this restaurant and bar for a few years now on vacation it's one of our favorite spots to visit. Great location next to the water you can pull up on the boat. The entire bar and restaurant is extremely clean and well maintained. Food could be better but is plenty good!

This is cool place to go to by boat. The one downfall for me was that they would not allow our dog on the outdoor patio. The sandwich and fries I had to go were pretty good though!

My husband and I used to love going out there (it's a long drive, but used to be worth it). The last year or so, the food (they are famous for their taco's) started to decline, but it was our special spot so we continued. Went there last night with my parents (dad's birthday) and my blind dog who can't be left alone and is VERY laid back. We sat down at the patio, far away from the screaming kids and other little dog. The server saw us, didn't even bother to acknowledge we were there. 15 minutes goes by, she's passed us twice more and my dad finally asked for menu's. She nods and goes inside. Then the owner leans out the door and shouts across the patio to remove my dog. Although he wasn't mean, I was mortified since the entire patio over heard. Why couldn't the server tell us that 15 minutes earlier? BY this time my dog was lying down not even making a sound. Um, there was another dog out there! I was so embarrassed I got up. My dad had really wanted to eat there, but was really angry that not only we were never waited on, we were asked to leave, and after waiting so long. A few people argued back, but I just didn't feel comfortable so we ended up leaving and driving the 30 miles back home. 60 miles to get yelled at when there was another dog already out there. I will never go back. Rude, unfriendly, bad service, and their food is no longer worth 60 miles round trip.
