Cold uncooked hathbrown. uncooked raw pancakes in which I never had before. no good breakfast

I have visited this restaurant twice. The first time, I ordered an omelette and pancakes. The omelette was decent, but not great. The pancakes were extremely tough and not light and fluffy. They were difficult to cut with a fork. The second time, I ordered two over-easy eggs, two strips of bacon, and pancakes. The pancakes were so hard that even the knife had trouble cutting through them. I'm not sure how they managed to make them so tough. The syrup helped soften them enough to eat. The service was good and the bathroom was clean.
