We have had bad experiences before and we keep giving them the benefit of the doubt. Today, we decided to not cook lunch and treat ourselves to the only fast food place within 20 miles of us. When arriving to the drive-thru we noticed a truck that had been there but hasn't ordered yet. 20 mins go by and the same truck is still at the ordering speaker with no one even acknowledging the deafening alarm that blares throughout the kitchen to indicate a car is at the speaker. Not a single soul spoke into that speaker. While i witnessed this and was completely dumbfounded, I then saw 3 separate employees that had very obviously saw and heard now 6 cars all waiting patiently to place their food orders waking out the back of building to just stand there and watch the cars waiting. I don't know who owns this Wendy's or what the business plan is but I suggest proper training for employees would be a great start. Don't waste your time or money on a business that will literally not serve you.
Seriously terrible. Service was horrible as well. The people that worked there were no where in sight and when I finally waited on, they were rude
I visited this restaurant and used the drive-thru, politely requesting some salt. To my surprise, the employee reprimanded me, insisting I should say "please" and use better manners. I was taken aback and thought I might have misunderstood her, so I called to clarify. During the call, she told me that I had spoken too rudely and should show more courtesy instead of making demands. I had no idea that asking for something politely was a prerequisite for giving a business my money! I genuinely appreciate the hard work of the staff and always try to be friendly. However, I believe it’s her who needs to show some manners instead of lecturing me. I’ll be reaching out to corporate next.
This restaurant rarely seems to be open. Their posted hours don’t align with when they’re actually operating. You could blame the pandemic, or the lack of a living wage, or anything else, I suppose. I visited once, and the person taking my order at the drive-thru said, “We only have nuggets and fries.” Seriously? Isn’t Wendy’s supposed to be a burger place? This place has been a mess for at least the last five years. Why not just close for good?
I have tried to eat at this restaurant multiple times over the past year, and every single time I found it closed. There’s been no explanation for this inconsistency. Their website states they close at 6 PM, but when I arrived at 5 PM, a group of teenagers on staff just stared at me through the locked door without making any attempt to speak to me. Everyone was bent over the counter on their phones. If their hours have changed, it’s not updated online, and there’s no sign on the door to inform customers. I’ve also come by at 3 PM and encountered the same issue. I'm extremely frustrated and won't be returning; it's not worth my time to drive 15 minutes down the mountain to a place that seems disinterested in operating, especially when there are staff members sitting inside using their phones. It’s completely ridiculous!
