Bruno's Mountain Bistro - Cashiers

I absolutely love this place! It's a quiet and cozy spot with fantastic food. My group of five was seated almost right away when we arrived for lunch. Some of us ordered brunch while others chose lunch, and everyone was pleased with their meals. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area!

The food was excellent, and I can certainly relate to others regarding the service. Our waitress was rather brusque and direct—definitely no smiles or small talk. It could be a frustrating place to dine when it's busy, but luckily, we visited during a quieter time and had a pleasant experience. The western omelet was tasty, and since I'm on vacation, I chose to overlook the lack of warmth.

The service was absolutely terrible! It's my birthday, and they seated three tables after us, took their orders, and we still hadn’t received any service. We asked for assistance, and the waitress said she would be right back, but instead, she went off to clean tables and never returned! My husband, who used to work in the industry, was very patient, but after trying to get service and encountering a rude attitude, we decided to leave. Thank you for starting my birthday with such an unacceptable experience!

The food was amazing. I ate a pretty big breakfast, but the food was so good I couldn't stop eating. I couldn't help myself, and I couldn't help my wife's food. It wasn't the first time I was here and not the last time. Great food and excellent service.

The little Zookeeper is tucked away in a small strip center. The food was great, but the server had poor customer service. They have an outdoor seating area and ample parking. Give it a try and I hope the service will be better for you. Try their omelets!
