Coopers Hawk - Caseyville

Heather S was our server and she was beyond fantastic! She was very personable and we enjoyed discussing wine with her and figuring out what to try. The food was good as always, shared appetizers with a friend and we had plenty to take home, each of us! Always a good time here.

Everything went well at the restaurant and we had food left over to take home. The disappointment came after my wife went to eat her leftovers and found 4 short hairs which looked to be from maybe a beard. Not good at all.

I've never been to restaurant that was completely out of alcohol. Couldn't get any kind of martini. I don't think the heat was on, very cold inside the restaurant- it's January

I've noticed a decline in the quality of the food and its preparation over the past 2 years. It has improved slightly over the past 6 months but it's no longer worth going to Cooper's Hawk for the cost of the food. I just expect to have a hot meal when I go out to eat dinner.

We had a good meal, but my filet, although done to perfection (medium rare), was a bit tough. My husband loved the short ribs. Food was hot and tasty. Our waitress (Heather) was attentive. The restaurant was crowded and very noisy, but since we were in a booth, conversation was still possible. Overall, we enjoyed our evening and will be back. Thanks!
