Moxie's Supper Club - Casco

I don't understand how they can claim to serve ribeye steak on their menu. What I received was closer to round steak with decent seasoning. The steak was less than a quarter-inch thick, so if you ordered medium rare, you might as well have gotten well done! The other couple we dined with ordered mushrooms on their steaks, but they received canned mushrooms and only a small amount at that. As for the sides, you could choose between salad or coleslaw. One of our friends chose the coleslaw, and I've never seen such a tiny bowl—it was ridiculous. Why even bother offering that option?

Considering the price, Moxies surpasses any restaurant in Illinois when it comes to quality and portion sizes.

It seems like you need to know someone to receive good service here, or you should sit at the bar and have a drink first. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food. While they were somewhat busy, we noticed others being seated and served before us. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit. It’s a shame, as the food was just okay.

The roasted chicken special they serve is simply fantastic!
