Tasquinha Do Luis - Cascais

This small, local, restaurant some 5-10 minutes by car from the station, serves great local food. The menu"s of the day are a steal and there is a good choice. No wonder that this place is often full!

Lunch in an out of the way location but worth the effort. It does not get more Portuguese family restaurant than this. Lunch of bean stew with pork and blood sausage and grilled pork febras, apple tart, very drinkable house wine and Ginga to follow. Very reasonable bill. In a way I hate to praise this because I am afraid it will be spoiled by an influx of tourists. This is real eating in Portugal.

Good food and service, pleasant atmosphere and fun 80s music. We had a lovely time during a recent family gathering to celebrate a very special birthday. Pity the single aircon wasn't enough to provide some badly needed fresh air for the whole space during a particularly hot summer's night.

Allways fresh fish and good meats welcome the visitors. Three separate rooms holds groups. Very good option for portuguese traditional cuisine
