Coal Cascais

Excellent steaks and best baked potato in Portugal. Grilled Veggies, Risotto and Cuvert are also excellent. There is no one who understands how to drink over a glass of wine. (based on food here 20 times or so) and the middle rare steak is rare, medium is well made...that they can not do on an international standard.

This is a very nice restaurant with a very friendly staff. The menu is mostly meat, with only one fish dish, so it is definitely for carnivores. We liked the fact that they open at 17:00, which allowed us to have dinner and then go on to a concert.

The food was actually good. Not I DIED GOOD but it was really good... however the staff made it a five!

The absolutely best Octopus in Cascais. I have been here three years in a row and it never disappoints. Fresh from the local fishermen, served with garlic and cooked potato. Delicious!
