Chequers - Cascais

Chequers restaurant was recommended by my friends who were on holiday.  I tried many thier food in different occasions  and  I and my family truly loved their food! especially their fish and the kebabs are awesome! my children adore their pizzas. Super friendly staff!Highly recommended.

My husband and my children had a great experience at Chequers Restaurant.The quality of the food was excellent and price wise was fair. Children under 5 years old don't pay for their food! We had the grilled fish and seafood rice which was amazing. My son had pizza which was one of the best he ever had. I highly recommend this place.

Nothing spectacular as a restaurant but amazingly attentive staff. We asked to prepare some vegetarian main dish with very special requirements to ingredients and they were able to prepare delicious meal. The pizza we took for starter was thin bodem Italian style, crispy and juicy. Steaks are also good but surely not the steakhouse level. The pricing is modest and affordable. Looks that this is more a bar which serves decent food than a restaurant but we were satisfied.
