You only have one chance to make a first impression, and this one was great. Excellent menu, great and exquisite wines. I went there with some good friends in a Winter working day for a dinner experience and the result was fantastic. To start we shared the fried prawns with hot sauce, the tuna (pica-pau) with teriyaki sauce and the duet of seafood (calamares and fried cuttlefish). As main course we had le magret de canard, the pork cheeks, the prawn risotto, plus the sea tagliatelle. For the wine we choose the superb FGA Reserva (Touriga Nacional, winner of the Portugal Wine Trophy 2017), but there are lots of outstanding wines at very reasonable prices. Service by the owners, which means professional. A place to return as soon as possible.

Bad service. Employees make fun of customers behind their backs. The dishes are literally dragged from the table. The desserts are frozen and no one apologizes. Our table was in front of a bathroom that served the employees themselves. Everyone closes the door when they enter but nobody closes it when they leave. In the end they charge for things that were not consumed. Don’t go. Food is not so good.

Cantina da Vila was a lovely surprise. The restaurant holds a very polite and quick service, with beautiful attention to detail and delicious food.

Equipe muito atenciosa, serviço magnífico. comida com apresentação cuidadosa e muito saborosa. bom ambiente. Eu vou mesmo voltar.

Great place! The ambience is great, the food is well presented and delicious, and you can say every little detail was held in mind when the experience put together. The staff was also very friendly!
