Del Cuore - CASALVIERI

My son and I were traveling in the Ciocioria region of Italy, visiting cousins and the town where my grandfather was born. Pietro D'Agostino, his wife Linda, and their children run a delightful establishment where you can find great pastries from the bakery nearby, espresso, cappuccino, alcohol beverages, and gelato that's made in the store. We started and ended our days here (seems to be the case for everybody in town . Pietro and Linda gave us travel tips (Monte Cassino, Reggia di Caserta, etc. , got us tables at restaurants in town, and treated us like family. This should be your first stop when traveling this region of Italy.

My brother I with our wives were visiting our grandparents home towns. Stopped in for refreshments at Bar del Cuore , in which Linda her son were very friendly helpful . We were so glad to know that Linda was from same area of Michigan as we were, wish we could have stayed longer.

Ristorante ben curato, anche se un po' datato nel design e nell'arredamento. Il proprietario è molto simpatico e pieno di gentilezza, sempre socievole e pronto a raccontare storie. Il caffè è nella media, ma vi consiglio di provare i gelati fatti in casa. Ci sono tavoli all'aperto e parcheggio in loco. Vi consiglio di fare una fermata qui per godervi la tranquillità del posto.

Un posto fantastico per fare una pausa con gli amici dopo un giro in bicicletta o semplicemente per incontrarsi per un aperitivo. I proprietari molto gentili hanno subito instaurato un buon rapporto con noi non locali. Ci hanno consigliato il ristorante dove abbiamo mangiato in modo divino.

"Gelati artigianali ottimi, i soli a farli in zona. Si respira l'atmosfera degli anni '80 dei piccoli paesi di provincia. Michele è un barista bravo e Pietro è un'icona pop locale."
