Starbucks - Cary

This location is fantastic! Patty and her team always go above and beyond to make sure you have an incredible experience. I rate it 10/10!

This Starbucks location has a rewards system that requires at least 150 stars to redeem for a free drink, which means you can't use just 25 stars for an upgrade or 50 for a simple coffee or tea. Many Starbucks locations have similar policies, so it's not a big deal. However, I was quite frustrated when the employee at the register told me I could use 50 stars for a hot tea before I placed my order. But when she scanned my app, the reward didn’t work. She then chastised me in front of a growing line of customers, questioning why I expected a free tea. I ended up having to pay for the drink I thought I would get for my loyalty, and to make matters worse, it wasn't even the type of tea I had initially ordered.

I decided to stop by before work to grab an iced honey oat milk latte. When I approached the window, the barista asked me what I had ordered. I said I wanted a large iced honey oat milk latte, but instead, she handed me a hot one. I clarified that I ordered it iced, and she asked me if I was sure three times. They ended up laughing about it. I mentioned it was still incorrect, but I appreciated it since I was in a hurry. I was asked about my drink multiple times, and I consistently told them I wanted it iced and venti. I think she even seemed a bit confused, but eventually, she gave me a great drink.

Great location, awesome staff, and they have a few if the new line if tumbler cups. The wait wasn't long and service was quick.

Really bad service. There was only a trainee serving and she did not know how to make most drinks. Had to come back 30 minutes later when a more experienced employee was available, then found it that you can not use Starbucks rewards at in store Starbucks. On top of that the drink was made wrong.
