Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls - Cary

I was excited to visit and it was just ok. I got a grilled cheese with lobster and a lobster bisque. The bisque was luke warm at best and the flimsy plastic spoon was comical. My meal cost $36 plus tip. That's outrageous. Fine to try once but unfortunately I probably will not be back.

I was so excited to eat here that I didn't even look at the price before I ordered. They serve lobster rolrolls, and all the fillings are gluten free. $33 for a lobster roll with tator tots. They forgot my bottle of water in my to-go order. And the food wasn't even good. It was a microwaved Udi roll, not even toasted with butter, and the lobster was chewy and also not buttery (I got the Connecticut Roll, which supposedly was buttery). The tots were mushy. I was so

I have to start off this review by saying the food here was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the 3 out of 5 stars comes from the value. I know lobster isn't cheap but to feed a family of 4 with 2 meals coming from the child's menu clocked us in at $85. I don't have a problem spending money on a good meal but if I'm going to spend close to $100 I would expect to be at a decent sit down environment. Also there just wasn't enough food to fill myself and son up. I

A touch of New England right here in Cary... Delicious stuff, fresh lobster meat dished out in perfect rolls... Limited menu, but spot on in terms of taste... We tried the Connecticut Roll Bar Harbour style with extra lobster, Lobster Grilled Cheese sandwich and Lobster Bisque... Would love to go back to try more

Really great lobster rolls and soup! The lobster grilled cheese was also delicious. It was our first time here and the employees were all very friendly and helpful!
