Contribuiți la feedbackOf the three dishes my wife ordered, two were served ice cold while my salad was warm. It's quite something when a restaurant can't even get that right. The kebab had a tough, shredded texture that was disappointing; it used to be a standout dish here, but now it’s clearly subpar meat. As for the salad, it was a complete disaster – literally hot and excessively spicy; it's the worst I've ever had at this restaurant. The pita bread was hard as a rock and cold, while my wife's was burning hot. We used to love coming here, even putting up with the owner's annoying son who occasionally ran the register because the food was good and the place was clean. But those days are long gone. We couldn't even finish our meal because it was so terrible. For the first time in all the hundreds of meals we've had here, we both ended up tossing our food in the trash. To top it off, we spotted some roaches outside as we left – that was actually one of the more memorable parts of our dining experience. To the new owner (or perhaps the old owner who's lost their way), after years of loyal patronage, we believe a full refund is in order. You can reach me via email through this message.
My first visit here was a bit overwhelming. The food was incredible, but since we were new to the table grill concept, we could have used some better guidance on how to use it and what we were eating. My vegetarian daughter struggled to find suitable options. It would be helpful for them to emphasize vegetarian choices on the menu. Despite this, we will definitely come back. Food: 5/5
This is a great casual Mediterranean spot for a quick meal. It primarily appeals to meat lovers, as there are plenty of meaty choices available. However, there are still many options for vegans and vegetarians. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a New York subway pizzeria. There's a mural on the wall that appears to be peeling, but I imagine that's just a temporary issue. Overall, it's a nice place for a quick and casual dining experience.
If you love Middle Eastern food (like I do) and you want a fast/casual experience then this is GREAT spot. They have many of the standards of this cuisine: kabobs, shawarma, falafel, gyros, various middle eastern salads (a really good selection), etc. And more importantly, they know how to cook meat. This might sound like a funny comment to make, but I've found that most Middle Eastern restaurants WAY overcook the meat that they serve, especially lamb, which leaves it dry and unenjoyable. Not so with Baba Ghannouj. The meat is cooked properly and is moist, juicy, and very flavorful. The lamb is really good (and if you don't normally eat lamb, you should try it here. Seriously). The service is fast, if not overly friendly, and so this place is great if you just want to stop and order something to go, which is what you probably want to do as the dining area is fairly small and austere. Finally, the prices are good and you get really good value for your money. My only complaint is that they aren't right across the street from where I live so I can go there more often. Just go, give them a little bit of money and make your stomach happy. You'll be glad you did.Parking: It's in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking.
It was a cold Saturday afternoon and we were in the mood for some healthyish lunch. We were going to be in the area of Cary and came across this establishment. Upon arrival we were overwhelmed with the rather large menu. There was plenty of options and variety of sizes. We decided on keeping it simple and ordered some wraps with some sides and an order for fries(why not you only Yolo once). As we waited we sat down and noticed this was by far one of the dirtiest restaurants we had ever been to. They probably hadn’t dusted it since they had opened 17+ years ago. Also everything was sticky, they had cleaning wipes everywhere, for a good reason I guess. They also had 20 bottles of ketchup around the restaurant with just a little bit in each. The food finally arrived and it was ok. A bit dry for the meet and the baba Ghannouj was lacking salt. The fries were tasty and the only positive side of the food.Overall we were a bit disappointed. I would only go back if they cleaned up and tightened up the menu.
