Contribuiți la feedbackWhile the owner’s intentions didn’t seem malicious, I felt overwhelmed by the whole situation. As a customer, I go out to enjoy myself, not to feel pressured. I appreciate the need for cleanliness and agree that maintaining the bathroom was a good idea, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts about how the experience affected me. My partner encouraged me to stay, even though I considered leaving right away. If you're looking for a quiet meal, this isn't the place for you. However, if you're in the mood for authentic home-cooked Thai food and don’t mind taking it home, you might enjoy the meal!
For those who say the owner is rude, they might not fully appreciate Asian culture. With her accent, her manner of speaking can come off as more direct, which is quite normal in her cultural context. I'm honestly surprised there’s a Thai restaurant in this city at all! If given a chance, they’ve thrived for seven years serving people who understand and appreciate both the culture and the cuisine. The food was just as it should be; we had curry and pad woon-sen. The way orders are taken might seem different to some (yes, it’s not typical), but that’s how they prefer to operate. One thing I would have liked is for my meal to be served on actual china rather than in a takeout container. However, let's remember, they’re from Thailand, not Georgia. So, Cartersville, let’s be patient and understanding toward people from different countries!
