Good Food Irazú - Cartago

Best food I had in Costa Rica and that says a lot because I had no bad meals! Large traditional meals with a very friendly staff.

It is a good place to eat traditional dishes, they are really fast in serving. Food is good, but the prices are a bit in the high end, but the sizes are ok for the price. The point on the white wall is that they are not a Veggie option and you cannot change anything in the courts to make it so. So if you remove the meat, it will cost you the same.

The server was very nice food was even better after the walk and the adrenaline ran down. this place was a welcome website.

Great place for expensive typical foods. On the menu you will find many good and delicious options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You have a rustic/wood environment and you can actually see how they cook your meal. I loved the olla de carne here because they serve it in a hot iron pan. Also the typical breakfast option is really good.

We stopped here randomly on our way to the Irazū volcano and were blown away by the delicious food. Service was really quick and pleasant even though our attempts at Spanish were pitiful. I can honestly say this was one of, if not the best food I had in Costa Rica. And we ate at some very fancy places. Really, stop by, you won't regret!
