Pollo Tropical Cartagena

Here eat the locals, so you know that you get good food for great value! I had the mixed plate that had a steak, chicken neighborhood and pork fillet. All three meats were tender and tasty. The chicken was the choice of the three though, perfectly seasoned and bbq’d by a professional, it was just perfect! My wife had a quarter of chicken coming with potatoes. Just like my chicken, perfection! The English is not great here, but it is easy to order!

We've been there twice since we came to Cartagena. In the first night we were tired and just wanted to try somewhere near our hotel. We ordered mixed meat plate and it was delicious, partly could be Cuz we hungry. Adequate price compared to Canada (most things here are much cheaper than Toronto, so it was not a fair comparison), but we enjoyed the services, food and atmosphere. We went back twice as we really liked how the guys didn't push it compare with other restaurants on the main road and they certainly better eat than others we tried on the main road.

A local favorite among Colombians. It is a chain restaurant so that the price of chicken 28k is somewhat overpriced compared to other local restaurants. We ordered a page of Fritten and literally had 30 Fritten maximum and was 4.5k. Not the most expensive place, but still decent for a fast meal. You have waiters here to help you. It's cheap food, so it's not bad. The place has a TV and a good aircon. It's getting hot in Cartagena.

Wow Pollos are everywhere in Cartagena!!! for me it is the best thing to eat away from home...it could not gp wrong! haha Pollo Tropical is a good call, good prices and the food is also delicious!!!

My favourite low budget lunch option in Cartagena's historic centre. Good grilled chicken served quick by guys in tropical guerilla uniforms. Gotta love it.
