Bayou Grille - Carson

I give this place four stars for their delicious fried shrimp po-boy, friendly service from the cute staff behind the counter, and a clean atmosphere with convenient parking. I initially intended to try Bodacious Q for some barbecue, but they were closed on Monday. So, I glanced across the parking lot and decided to give Bayou Grille a shot. I ordered the six shrimp po-boy for $6.99, and also a side of potato salad, which turned out to be a bit bland—perhaps it was just an off batch. However, the fried shrimp po-boy was quite tasty. Though I've never tried a po-boy from the South before, I felt it could have used a little more toasting on the bun. Regardless, it still satisfied my cravings. I think it was the seasoned fried batter on the shrimp that made it so enjoyable... mmmmm, so good!

I ordered the 6 shrimp po-boy for $6.99, and I also got a side of potato salad, which was a bit bland—perhaps it was just an off day for it? However, the fried shrimp po-boy was absolutely delicious! Although I’ve never had a po-boy from the South before, I think the bread could have been toasted a little more, but it was still great overall. I think the real star was the seasoned fried dough they use on the shrimp—so good!
