The Red Hut Cafe Soda Fountain

Best breakfast in the Tahoe Carson area. I grew up on these delicious breakfasts, brunches, and lunches. Wonderful food, no matter what you order and plenty of it! Don't skip the waffles or the Rosti. Easy to split entrees and enjoy a variety. Great burgers, biscuits gravy, and chicken fried steak. Unique atmosphere at this location. Be sure to visit the OG location up at the Lake next to the Presbyterian church...and buy a coffee mug! Always a pleasure to visit the Red Hut though, no matter which one.

I used to look forward to meetings at this restaurant. The chicken apple sausage breakfast was hidden in the menu, but I've enjoyed it before so I ordered it. The hash browns were cold and chewy, very stale. The chicken. Apple sausage was dried out and hard. I was very disappointed. The best part about this was the company of the person I met.

Breakfast was good and the service was great. We had only been to one other Red Hut and were not impressed so we did not go to them forever, but this one was good. Would go again.

1st time here. Good food. Plenty of seats without being on top of one another. Food was served quick.

Nice breakfast place. Went around 11am so it wasnt very busy and Service was slow and took awhile to get coffee cup refilled. After getting food, waitress never came back to check on us.
