Best Japanese place ever in my Newcastle life My partner suggested to try this place, he’s very picky and so strict with food. Ended up we are very happy to try this place even the staff is super nice. Ridiculously rude and poor service. My partner and I went there around 7:30 pm, waited to place the order in front of the counter with a bottle of drink which became tepid while waiting for the reception. We had to leave after 30 minutes of waiting without even being noticed. Even though the front of the house was quite empty, I assume it could be busy with takeout or Uber orders. However, when you consider the impression of the place given by the staff member, it was one unpleasant experience to be ignored for more than 30 minutes even though the guy was right in front of us. Improvement in staff numbers is necessary if you guys are busy, even a simple acknowledgment with a greeting would have made a significant difference.
