Mauds Ice Creams - Carrickfergus

We were staying in an apartment next door, so just had to have some ice cream from Mauds. Absolutely delicious and could easily compete with ice cream parlours in places like Germany and Italy. Looking out from the apartment window and the constant flow of customers is testament to how good and popular Mauds is. Great asset to Carrickfergus.

Had the waffles and ice cream simply beautiful... Mind u l would be enough between two as the portion is quite big. Well worth a visit.

Love this wee ice cream shop delicious ice cream, very clean and all with a lovely view. Lots of sweets and other sugary treats as well.

Dear Mauds, Yummy ice cream in my tummy I must say!! me, myself and I went into your establishment and the hygiene was clean as a whistle, give yourselves a pat on the back young ones. I approached, my mind racing like a child,asking the young Lad before me for. A scanty cone of brown, nutty grizzly bear! Super delish! I stumbled home happy as a sandboy. I’ll be back. To try the coffee one day in this cafe as after all what is a trip to carrick without passing a **** coffee place!!!1! Rum and raisin ice cream is my personal favourite the cones are a great size and well worth the price charged I have had ice creams in other parlours but this is certainly the best
