Hug's Italian Cuisine

Hugs is an intimate restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine of old school. the sitting area is cozy and fills up quickly so that reservations are a good idea, even in the next season. the menu is extensive and serves only dinner. they have a great wine selection and help them combine a wee with their dinner. had hugs a party and the food was well packed, fresh, hot and delicious. we have also eaten in many times and although it is not expensive, it is also not cheap. the team is friendly and helpful. it can be difficult to make reservations if they are only open from 4 o'clock and the phone tends to ring busy, but it is worth the effort.

My wife went there for the second time. Again, the staff and food were excellent. We recommend Hugs as a great place for dinner.

Hug's is our favorite restaurant at Sugarloaf. They serve family-style salad, decent bread, and a variety of good pasta dishes in a homey, warm environment. For those who don't want a pasta entree, there are other options. On a cold winter night in the middle of Maine, you can't beat it!
