Contribuiți la feedbackThe food at this restaurant was just okay, with some dishes being lacking in flavor. The service was terrible, with forgetful staff and long waits for attention. The atmosphere inside was nice, but not enough to make up for the poor service. One employee seemed to be on top of things, but the rest were not taking their jobs seriously. Overall, not worth a visit.
Good ambiance, very friendly staff. Food wise was above average but not stellar. Can’t complain but nothing was a home run. The chicken biryani was good, beef samosas were tasty and simply and the chicken 65 was a little too wet in my opinion but not bad.
This restaurant has turned into just a spot for Instagram pictures. After returning following a long absence, I was hopeful that the quality of the food had improved. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Not only have the prices increased by 60%, but the portion sizes have decreased. We were served burnt chicken legs for $20, with the Nehari dish being watered down and barely filling half the bowl. The Achari chicken, priced at $26, arrived cold with bones and also did not fill half the pot. It is with great disappointment that I write this review. There was a time when Usmania was known for its excellent food, quality, portion sizes, and service. However, as they have expanded, the quality of their food has declined. I advise anyone visiting Chicago to avoid Usmania for brunch, lunch, or dinner as it is not worth it. It appears that they may need a better chef or for the owners to oversee the kitchen to ensure that the food is top-notch, as it was in the past. To the management of Usmania, if you are reading this, there is no need for apologies or compensation. I have no intention of dining at your restaurant again. My hope and suggestion are that you serve your guests with the quality and quantity they deserve, considering they are the ones keeping your doors open. I hope that this honest review helps.
This restaurant experience was absolutely terrible. The chicken karahi was poorly cooked, with raw mutton in the biryani. The chicken tasted bland, as if it had been boiled in water. The meat in the biryani was mushy and the dish itself resembled pudding. Despite there being 35 workers in the restaurant, we had to repeatedly ask for our order to be taken. The restaurant needs to improve their Pakistani cooking skills. The reputation of Pakistani food has been tarnished by this experience. The high price we paid for the meal did not match the low quality of the food. I even brought my American girlfriend to try Pakistani cuisine and was left disappointed. Overall, the bill was $70 but the food was only worth $7.
If you have not tried Balochi chicken, you are missing amazing experience.Bihari beef was not what I was expecting.
