Califas - Carolina Township

The young cashier was super nice and the sloppy birria burger (pulled pork sandwich basically) was very good. I enjoyed the bacon, onions, and sauce they came with it. I wish I had just had that and didn't order chips and queso. The cheese was the equivalent of bowling alley or baseball game cheese, but it seems they tried to add some spices into it to spruce it up. It was just a runny, tasteless cheap cheese in a small cup. Worth $3.50, not the $8.50 it ended up being.

The cashier was nice. The food came out quick and was fresh. So far best Birria tacos I've had in Greenville. Three of them with a water will set you back $15.40.

I was expecting a really good experience from here after hearing about their success at the Tacos n Tequila Festival, however I was very disappointed.My wet burrito was 40% just corn, and flavorless. My friend got the birria quesadillia and birria tacos, to which both did not have any flavor and were very disappointing. Maybe it was an off day, but I will say I am not going to try them again.
